The proposed infrastructure would address the unsanitary and unsafe conditions associated with the existing wastewater infrastructure.

The Environmental Assessment (EA), dated May 2023, for the Bluestone Dam Phase 5, Miller Avenue Hauling Restrictions to identify a more efficient alternative for truck hauling for the Bluestone Dam during Phase 5 construction in Summers County, West Virginia. The need for the haul restriction changes would lead to efficiency of the Project construction.

    The Town of Union, West Virginia is proposing to design and construct a waterline extension project for the Village of Pickaway, West Virginia. Residents and businesses within the project area rely on individual water systems consisting of unreliable wells and cisterns. The proposed infrastructure would address the unsanitary and unsafe conditions associated with the existing water supply system and provide potable water and fire services to areas not served by public water services.

  • Draft Environmental Assessment, Section 340 Glen Morgan Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade, Raleigh County, West Virginia

    The Shady Springs Public Service District is proposing to design and construct a wastewater treatment plant upgrade project in Glen Morgan, Raleigh County, West Virginia. The existing wastewater treatment plant is nearing its design capacity and contains aging and deteriorating components. The proposed infrastructure would address the unsanitary and unsafe conditions associated with the existing wastewater treatment plant.

  • Grayson Lake Water Supply Storage Reallocation Study

    This reallocation study has been initiated at the request of the City of Grayson (City) operating the Grayson Utilities Commission (GUC) to consider reallocation of storage space in Grayson Lake to yield 3 million gallons of water per day (mgd). The request is based on a need to identify a reliable, clean, and economical source of municipal water to meet the City’s needs into the future.
