    View current Notices to Navigation Interests (NTNI) published by the USACE Navigation Data Center. Find information about channel closures, lock and dam status, navigation hazards, chart updates, and dredging operations.

  • Regulatory Request System (RRS) Public Notices

    Search all active permit applications for Section 404 (wetlands), Section 10 (navigable waters), and Section 408 (alterations to USACE projects) in the official Regulatory and Response System (RRS). View permit details, submit comments during public comment periods, and track application status. RRS is the authoritative source for all USACE regulatory permits.

  • Kinzua Dam and Allegheny Reservoir Master Plan and Environmental Assessment Revision – Public Comment Period

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District invites the public to review and comment on proposed revisions to the Kinzua Dam and Allegheny Reservoir Master Plan and Environmental Assessment. The 30-day public comment period is open from April 13 through May 15, 2026. The revision will guide the management of recreational activities and natural resources at Kinzua Dam and Allegheny Reservoir for the next 25 years. Documents are available online and at local libraries in Warren, PA and Salamanca, NY. Comments can be submitted via email to CELRP-PA@usace.army.mil.

  • Operation and Maintenance Dredging and Dredged Material Placement – Cooley Canal Harbor, Lucas County, Ohio

    Expiration date: 5/11/2026

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District announces maintenance dredging of the federal navigation channel at Cooley Canal Harbor in Lucas County, Ohio. Approximately 10,000 cubic yards of sediment will be mechanically dredged to maintain sufficient depth for shallow-draft recreational vessels. Dredged material will be placed at an authorized open-water placement site in western Lake Erie.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is providing public notice of proposed operations and maintenance activities at Wilson West Pier in the Town of Wilson, Niagara County, New York. This notice is issued pursuant to Section 404(a) of the Clean Water Act and 33 CFR 337.1 to inform the public of the planned discharge of stone materials into waters of the United States during pier repair work. The public is invited to submit comments or request a public hearing during the comment period.
