  • Tittabawassee River Midland, MI FRM Study Review Plan

    The Detroit District has posted the approved Review Plan for the Tittabawassee River Midland Michigan Flood Risk Management Study (P2: 510604). Under Section 8201 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2022, USACE is studying flood risk management measures for Midland County, Michigan. This Review Plan outlines the quality assurance process for the feasibility study, including District Quality Control (DQC) and Agency Technical Review (ATR). The study is being conducted in partnership with Midland County, City of Midland, and Midland Business Alliance.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, is requesting public comment on a Draft Memorandum of Agreement regarding the renewal of a combined sewer-stormwater overflow easement with the City of Sault Ste. Marie. The easement renewal has been determined to have an adverse effect on a National Register-eligible burial site at Brady Park within the St. Marys Falls Canal (Soo Locks) National Historic Landmark. Comments must be submitted within 30 days to LRE-NHPA-Comments@usace.army.mil.
