  • Town of Boone Ecosystem Restoration – Habitat Restoration Project Review Plan

    Review Plan for a Section 206 aquatic ecosystem restoration feasibility study in the Town of Boone, Watauga County, North Carolina (P2 No. 454138). The study evaluates alternatives for restoring Boone Creek along River Street, currently maintained as a parking area with degraded aquatic habitat and failing culvert infrastructure. The project aims to restore ecosystem structure, function, and dynamic processes to a less degraded, more natural condition while addressing routine flooding impacts to Appalachian State University buildings and surrounding areas.
