(March 21, 2024) – The President’s Budget for fiscal year 2025 includes more than $7.2 billion in discretionary funding for the Civil Works program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, with just over $152 million set aside for Nashville District Operations and Maintenance projects.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 21, 2024) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Dodson Chapel Access Area below J. Percy Priest Dam is closing 7 a.m. Monday, March 25 through Friday, April 5, 2024, while crews work to remove vegetation along the roadway to improve visibility and to enhance public safety.

    SOMERSET, Ky. (March 20, 2024) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the release of the 2024 Lake Cumberland Shoreline Management Plan. This plan is a critical element to how the Corps manages more than 1,000 miles of shoreline created when Wolf Creek Dam impounded the waters of the Cumberland River, creating Lake Cumberland.
  • Dale Hollow Dam Road closing for scheduled maintenance

    CELINA, Tenn. (March 1, 2024) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces Dale Hollow Dam Road is closing to all traffic across the dam 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 through Monday March 11, 2024, for preventative maintenance on and around the roadway. The dates are subject to change based on contractor schedule.
