Lt. Gen. Scott A. Spellmon, 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, made a visit to the Huntington District February 15, 2023 to discuss and see the progress being made on multiple projects.

Lt. Gen. Scott A. Spellmon, 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, made a visit to the Huntington District February 15, 2023 to discuss and see the progress being made on multiple projects.

While being briefed on the work being completed at a variety of projects, Spellmon was also able to visit project sites in Milton, WV and Winfield Locks and Dam to see some of the progress being made first-hand. The general also handed out coins to multiple employees within the district in order to acknowledge their hard work in the field.
