The US Army Corps of Engineers Historian, Dr. John Lonnquest and his assistant, Dr. Jonah Bea-Taylor visited the Huntington District recently to help the district establish a History Committee.

The US Army Corps of Engineers Historian, Dr. John Lonnquest and his assistant, Dr. Jonah Bea-Taylor visited the Huntington District recently to help the district establish a History Committee. During their visit they looked through several storage locations and helped to provide guidance on items that should be preserved. They were able to visit RC Byrd Locks and Dam where Assistant Lockmaster, BJ Lyon provided an overview of the operations.
