The contractor for phase one, upstream channel deepening, has begun dredging in the overburden area on the New Lock at the Soo project in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This material handler will take the overburden materials out of a scow and place it in articulated haul trucks to be distributed on the northwest pier.
