    Connor Foster is continuing his journey and career where it all began

    After spending a summer as a student intern with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District in 2023, Connor Foster was hooked and decided to take his career further and join the Buffalo District as a full-time employee. Connor, a recent graduate from Cleveland State University, spoke more about his experience as an intern and why he decided to come back and join the USACE team.

    Recap: Ohio River Basin Day on the Hill 2024

    On May 16 at the Russell Senate Building in Washington, DC, members from multiple local, state, and federal agencies and organizations, as well as members of congress, joined teammates and leadership from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Great Lakes and Ohio River Division for the annual Ohio River Basin Day on the Hill, hosted by Ohio River Basin Alliance (ORBA) and the Ohio River Valley Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO).

    USACE, City of Cincinnati developing plan to improve Cincinnati’s riverfront

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District is working in coordination with the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County to help improve Cincinnati’s Riverfront along the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. USACE and the Cincinnati Park Board are partnering on a $2.5 million feasibility study to improve and revitalize the Ohio River’s edge along Smale Riverfront Park.
