  • Severe storms impact repair timeline at Wilson Lock

    The Wilson Lock gate repair project has experienced a schedule shift due to a combination of weather delays, technical challenges, and the sequencing of critical path tasks. These factors have resulted in a delay of three weeks, extending the project's completion date from mid-June to early July 2025.
  • Wilson Lock main chamber reopening planned for 2025

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and the Tennessee Valley Authority have decided, following a joint risk assessment of the main chamber of Wilson Lock on the Tennessee River near Florence, not to reopen the chamber until the phase 2 dewatering is completed.

The lock chamber will be closed until further notice.
