Lauren Schifferle, a hydraulics civil engineer at Buffalo District, led the group through Niagara Falls to talk about her experience as a key advisor for the International Joint Commission and how she's developed critical communication skills to help maintain a critical 119-year-old partnership between the U.S. and Canada and their shared use of the Great Lakes.
