LRD second longest tenured employee crosses 50 years of federal service
Congratulations to Bob Burnside, LRDs Chief of Readiness and Contingency Operations! Burnside crossed 50 years of federal government service this month. Many years ago, Burnside was drafted into the U.S. Army in Cincinnati and retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant. As he finished his military service working for the Ohio River Division, Burnside transitioned into a civilian service position becoming LRD's second longest tenured employee! Burnside was also presented the Superior Civilian Service Medal for his actions during the Division’s COVID-19 response. Burnside and his team helped LRD lead the way coordinating the ACF builds across four states. We truly appreciate his service to the Nation
