    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 13, 2025) – Employees that supported back-to-back critical repair actions this past year at Wilson and Pickwick Locks received the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District’s Hedgehog Award yesterday in recognition of their efforts to keep navigation moving on the Tennessee River.

    Nashville District executive officer culminates career as Soldier and civil servant

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 13, 2025) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District bid farewell yesterday to its long-serving executive officer and congressional liaison that faithfully served 16 consecutive commanders and culminates 38 years as a civil servant.

    Officials recognize dynamic couple that spent decades supporting navigation

    LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 16, 2024) – Gary and Judi Fleeman recently culminated a combined 51 years supporting navigation missions together on the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District. When they decided to retire together, Corps officials made it a point to thank and duly recognize this dynamic couple for their tremendous impact and many years of service.
