Public Notice for the Village of Blanchester, Ohio, Environmental Infrastructure Project, Environmental Assessment

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District has completed a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for a project which includes the rehabilitation of the Reservoir #3 dam in the Village of Blanchester, Clinton County, Ohio.
 
The Environmental Infrastructure is a Section 594, Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) 1999 (Public Law 106-53, 113 STAT 381), as amended. The district has determined that implementing the recommended plan would not constitute a major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment within the meaning of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement is not required.
