The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District announces the availability of the Environmental Assessment and Final Finding of No Significant Impact for the Glenwood Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project, Preble County, Ohio.

The Environmental Assessment (EA) addresses impacts to the environment from activities associated with providing reliable sanitary sewer service to the community of Glenwood while removing failing septic systems from service. The recommended plan is to construct an extended aeriation wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), gravity sewer system, PVC force main, pump stations, and an access road to the WWTP.

The District has determined that implementing the recommended plan would not constitute a major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment within the meaning of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement is not required.

The EA and Final Finding of No Significant Impact are available for viewing at the following link: https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/utils/getfile/collection/p16021coll7/id/25760
