Huntington District, West Virginia -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District is conducting a public meeting to update the community on the construction of the Johnson County Section 202 Flood Risk Reduction Project Monday, April 14, 2025, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Country Music Highway Museum, 100 Stave Branch Rd, Staffordsville, Ky. 41256.
The Johnson County Section 202 Flood Risk Reduction Project is intended to reduce flood risk for the city of Paintsville, Kentucky. This Flood Risk Management (FRM) project will implement solutions to protect the City of Paintsville from recurring flood events. This meeting is designed to update the community on the construction and address any questions.
