USACE announces public review period for Green River Lake Master Plan

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has updated its 1981 Master Plan for Green River Lake located in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

A Master Plan is the document that conceptually establishes and guides the orderly development, administration, maintenance, preservation, enhancement, and management of all natural, cultural, and recreational resources of a Corps water resource project.

Comments and questions can be submitted by email to greenriver.masterplan@usace.army.mil. The public comment period will be open until Oct.16, 2023.

Master Plan Update

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in exempted or excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
