Nashville District announces bilingual safety displays at J. Percy Priest Lake
A new bilingual information board featuring maps and water safety guidance is displayed at J. Percy Priest Lake, April 17, 2024. As part of a public safety initiative, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District installed 18 of these boards in popular recreation areas, providing rules, emergency contact information, and life jacket advocacy in both English and Spanish to better serve the entire community. The Nashville District manages 284 recreation areas, supporting over 22.7 million visitors every year. From camping and hiking to boating and fishing, our public lands give visitors places to enjoy the outdoors across 4,600 miles of shoreline. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo)
