Jeremy Sharp, a hydraulic engineer with the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, uses virtual technology to discuss modifications to the Rough River physical model located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, with sponsors from Louisville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The CHL team is conducting further testing on the stilling basin and retreat channel this week utilizing the same technology to allow for greater participation in the experiment, which has been limited due to COVID-19 restrictions7
