USACE Change of Command
The 54th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lt. Gen. Todd T. Semonite relinquished command of USACE to Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon during a change of command ceremony held Sept. 10, 2020. We appreciate all the hard work and leadership LTG Semonite has shown us throughout his career, and look forward to the new leadership of LTG Spellmon as new commanding general of USACE.

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in exempted or excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
