Nashville District celebrates its history, commits to future workforce readiness
Lt. Col. Cullen Jones, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District commander, addresses employees, family members and guests at the Nashville District 130th Anniversary Ball Aug. 18, 2018 at the Embassy Suites in Nashville, Tenn. He highlighted how the district had humble beginnings when Special Order 191 established the district to develop the Cumberland River Basin, and how today’s workforce of more than 730 people that support a 59,000 square mile footprint touching seven states and two major watersheds.
