Debris is strewn around and on top of a restroom facility at Rockland Recreation Area Jan. 25, 2024, from when a tornado struck the area Dec. 9, 2023. The recreation area is on the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is assessing the damage and working to determine the necessary repair and rebuilding actions that will be required to restore and reopen the area.
