The Somerfield North Boat Ramp at Youghiogheny River Lake has been widened by 18-feet, extending 250-feet, for a total of 4,500 square feet of new pavement. The additional space provides a popular recreation area safer water access for boaters and can accommodate vehicle access in low water. The project used public input and donated resources and corps' lake staff and volunteers from the Friends for the Youghiogheny River Lake.
