Olmstead Locks and Dam recognized as top ten Outstanding Civil
Louisville District's Olmsted Locks and Dam project was recognized as a top ten Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Honor Award recipient at the American Society of Civil Engineers OPAL Awards Gala held in Washington, D.C., March 13, 2020. There to represent the project was Olmsted Locks and Dam Project Manager Dewey Rissler, Louisville District Commander Col. Antoinette Gant, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Commander Maj. Gen. Robert Whittle and the 54th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lt. Gen. Todd Semonite.
