The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), through the Interagency and International Services (IIS) program, provides a multitude of professional services and technical products to non-Department of Defense federal agencies, state and local governments, tribal nations, private U.S. firms, international organizations, and foreign governments. USACE support can help meet your agency’s program challenges while avoiding duplication of federal capabilities. Under the IIS program, non-Department of Defense agencies are able to access unique support capabilities including regional and national experts from USACE laboratories and technical centers of expertise.
Using ISO 9000 (International Organization for Standardization) certified Project Management Business Processes, we operate as a Regional Business Center where expertise and experience is shared to serve our customers.
The Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD) includes seven districts located in Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Huntington, Louisville, Nashville, and Pittsburgh, serves more than 58 million people, and covers 355,300 square miles over 17 states.
Although the districts operate within their area of responsibility, each district has the ability to reach out to other LRD and USACE districts, centers of expertise and research laboratories to meet your mission needs.
