  • Section 404 Public Notice - Fairport Harbor Nearshore Placement of Dredged Sediment

    Expiration date: 2/23/2026

    Public Notice for nearshore placement of dredged sediment at Fairport Harbor, Lake County, Ohio, pursuant to Section 404(a) of the Clean Water Act and 33 CFR 337.1. The USACE Buffalo District proposes to establish a new nearshore placement area west of Fairport Harbor for 40,000-65,000 cubic yards of coarse-grained sediment. Public comment period: 30 days. Comments due by February 23, 2026.

  • Reissuance of Nationwide Permits (NWPs) for Indiana - Effective March 15, 2026

    Expiration date: 3/15/2031

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces the reissuance of 56 existing Nationwide Permits (NWPs) and one new NWP, effective March 15, 2026 through March 15, 2031. The 2021 versions of these NWPs expire on March 14, 2026. Regional conditions for Indiana waters will be announced in a future public notice. Federal Register: 91 FR 768.
