The project would repair the deteriorating 900-foot pier at the mouth of Rocky River Harbor on Lake Erie to ensure continued safe navigation for commercial and recreational users. Public comments are invited through May 23, 2026.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, announces the availability of a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Section 594 New Marshfield Sewer Project in Athens County, Ohio. The proposed project involves construction of a new sanitary sewer force main and associated lift station upgrades to provide reliable wastewater infrastructure for residents. This project is Phase 2 of the Athens County Unsewered Areas Program, conducted in partnership with Athens County Commissioners under Section 594 of the Water Resources and Development Act (WRDA) of 1999. Public comments are being accepted during the review period.
