SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District will close the Soo Locks Visitor Center in Canal Park for the season at 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Visitor Center hours for the remainder of October are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The park will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily for the month of October and will transition to winter hours (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) on November 1.
The Visitor Center is scheduled to reopen May 1 for the 2026 season.
