Center Hill Dam road and recreation areas temporarily closing

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the section of State Highway 141/96 that crosses over Center Hill Dam as well as Buffalo Valley Recreation Area and Long Branch Recreation Area will be closed 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 10.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces the section of State Highway 141/96 that crosses over Center Hill Dam as well as Buffalo Valley Recreation Area and Long Branch Recreation Area will be closed 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 10.

During this time, a restrictor plate that was removed for inspection in the fall will be reinstalled on the dam. The closure provides for the safety of employees and visitors while making room for the equipment utilized during the construction.
