  • USACE announces roadway impacts crossing Wolf Creek Dam

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 6, 2024) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces roadway impacts are expected crossing Wolf Creek Dam on Highway 127 when the Wolf Creek Dam Spillway Gates Replacement Project gets underway in mid-June.
  • NR 23-13: Kendall Recreation Area closure extended into August 2023

    JAMESTOWN, Ky. (May 2, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Kendall Campground and Day Use Area, to include its boat ramp and roadway along the riverside campground, will remain closed into August 2023 as repairs continue to rehabilitate flood damage sustained in February 2019.
  • NR 23-03: Wolf Creek Dam oxygen diffuser project underway

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 9, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is executing a sustainability project funded by the Section 212 Program to install an upstream diffuser system at Wolf Creek Dam on the Cumberland River in Jamestown, Kentucky.

    JAMESTOWN, Ky. (Oct. 20, 2022) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that portions of Kendall Campground and Day Use Area, to include its boat ramp and roadway along the riverside campground, are closing for repairs Oct. 24, 2022, through early April 2023 to rehabilitate flood damage sustained in February 2019.
  • NR 22-22: Contract awarded for Wolf Creek Dam Spillway Gates Replacement Project

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 29, 2022) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District awarded a $109,450,000 contract yesterday to American Bridge Company for the Wolf Creek Dam Spillway Gates Replacement Project. The project is fully funded by the Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2022.
