LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be performing scheduled maintenance activities at Brookville Lake in Brookville, Indiana, starting November 18 through mid-December 2024. During this time, visitors may see construction equipment and crews on site performing the routine dam maintenance work, including weekends.
The dam is operating as intended, and this maintenance is not related to any issues. Visitors are encouraged to stay alert and exercise caution in the work areas, as there may be potential hazards such as slips, trips and falls. The tailwater recreation area will remain open to the pubic with minimal impact on traffic patterns.
