Brigadier General Mark Quander, Commanding General of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division visited the Meldahl Locks and Dam to observe the work of the Light Capacity Fleet as it conducts maintenance on the auxiliary chamber. This critical work is essential to ensuring continued flow of commerce along the Ohio River.
BG Quander was accompanied by Mr. Joe Savage and Mr. Phil Johnson where they were able to interact with the Meldahl operations staff, the members of the Light Capacity Fleet and the key leaders of the Huntington District staff.
