Restoring American Bald Eagle to upper Cumberland region a tall tale
Seven-week-old American Bald Eagles arrive at Dale Hollow Lake July 26, 1989 to resettle them. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District conducted an Eagle Restoration Program and released 44 eagles between 1987 and 1991 to restore nesting populations along waterways in Tennessee and Kentucky.
