The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, has marked a submerged stone wall at the entrance to Shipping Slip 3 to remind boaters of its presence as they transit the Buffalo Outer Harbor, Buffalo, New York, Dec. 13, 2023. From September to October, 17,200 tons of bedding stone were placed at the opening of the slip as part of an ongoing project to convert the former commercial slip into a wetland.
