Division Commander leads district leadership run
MORNING RUN - Maj. Gen. Robert F. Whittle, Jr., U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division commanding general and division engineer, led an early morning run through downtown Pittsburgh Tuesday morning. Maj. Gen. Whittle is in town for a regional meeting of division and district leadership hosted by Pittsburgh District Commander Col. Andrew J. Short. The seven districts are US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District in New York, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District in Illinois, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District in Michigan, Huntington District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in West Virginia, Louisville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Kentucky, Nashville District in Tennessee and Pittsburgh District, US Army Corps of Engineers. The Great Lakes and Ohio River Division is one of eight Army Corps of Engineers Regional Business Centers where expertise and experience is shared to serve customers across 17 states.
