On the south shore of Lake Superior on the North Face of Keweenaw Point, 31 miles northeasterly from the Upper Entrance of Keweenaw Waterway. Project provides for a short entrance channel, a guide pier marking the entrance on the west side, and a harbor basin. Project depths are 14 feet in the entrance channel and 12 feet in harbor basin.
