Mr. Bryan K. Sizemore currently serves as the Huntington District Deputy Program’s Manger (DPM).  Prior to joining USACE, Bryan served as a Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO) and Emergency Management Specialist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) since 2020.  Bryan retired from the United States Army in 2020 as a Colonel and the Commander and District Engineer of the Saint Louis District.

Bryan K. Sizemore was commissioned into the Corps of Engineers through the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1996.  Previous assignments prior to retirement as a District Commander include: Installation Operations Officer (G3) for Fort Leonard Wood, United States Army War College Fellow at the Skowcroft Institute of the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, Commander the 11th Engineer Battalion at Fort Benning, GA, Chief of the Commander’s Initiatives Group at the Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning, Chief of the Iraqi Security Forces Cell in United States Division – North (USD-N), Tikrit, Iraq, and Deputy Operations Officer for Training, G3, for the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson. CO, Secretary of the General Staff (SGS) for Fort Bliss, Texas, Squadron Executive Officer for the 6th Squadron - 1st Cavalry Regiment in the 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division (1AD), Brigade S3 of the 5th Brigade, 1AD, Brigade Chief of Plans for the 5th Brigade, 1AD, Department of the Army Secretariat Board Recorder at the Army Human Resources Command (HRC),  Company Commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Company/54th Engineer Battalion in Bamberg, Germany, Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Commanding General, V Corps, in Heidelberg, Germany, Operations Officer in the Staff Engineer Section, V Corps, Heidelberg, Germany, Executive Officer of Charlie Company, 91st Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Battalion Adjutant for the 91st Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Support Platoon Leader in the 555th Engineer Company (Topographic), Executive Officer of the United States Army Garrison (USAG), III Corps and Fort Hood, and Production Platoon Leader in the 555th Engineer Company (Topographic), III Corps and Fort Hood.

Bryan’s military decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal (with one Oak Leaf Cluster), the Meritorious Service Medal (with four Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (with four Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal, Kosovo and Bosnia NATO Medals, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Combat Action Badge.

Bryan earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering at West Point, a Master’s of Science Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Master’s Degree of Military Arts and Sciences from the Marine Corps University in Quantico, Virginia.  His military education includes the Army War College, the Joint Combined Warfighting Course, Marine Corps Command and Staff College, Combined Arms and Staff Services School, and the Engineer Officer Advanced and Basic Courses.
